We are looking for volunteers for our Life Skills Education Program. It is a 9-month in-class program where we provide students with the skills to work in teams, identify and understand emotions, resolve conflicts, and make responsible decisions. We serve students in grades K-8th, once a month. After such a challenging year for many of us, these skills are super important to share with our young community.

Description
ACE, a non-profit in Birmingham, works to increase access to Social-Emotional Learning by implementing the Life Skills Education Program in local schools.
Social-Emotional Learning is the process through which individuals acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.
