Come drum virtually with us on Fridays

Do you have an interest in sharing the joy of music and rhythm with people who are experiencing memory loss or other chronic conditions?
We will provide hand drums and other percussion instruments to participants. You bring your drum and the desire to help people experience the benefits of group drumming by leading us in a drum circle on Fridays for 15-30 minutes once or twice a month on Zoom with flexible scheduling between 10:30am-Noon CST.

This activity is part of our group engagement program for people experiencing memory loss or other chronic conditions that meets every Friday from 10:30-Noon on Zoom. Prior to placement in our program, volunteers must provide a sample drumming session to our staff.

Training will be provided on socializing with people experiencing memory loss and working with people on Zoom.
