HSE is a non-profit organization that provides a free online English learning platform to increase the confidence of all English learners. You will be responsible for recording scripted content for HSE's Video Channel.
FAQ
1. Format: video or voice? - Video
2. How are service hours going to be counted? - 15 minutes per each video you record
3. How long will each video be? - A minute
4. Is there any other position on the video team? - Yes, we are looking for people who are willing to be on screen and read the script as well as video editors and scriptwriters.
5. What are we going to be reading? - Anything that helps people to improve their English (learning tricks, English phrases, synonyms, antonyms, abbreviations, etc)
6. How much time do we need to commit each week? - Everyone will be on shift and the schedule is very flexible. 20 minutes/week should suffice.

ConnectPlus aims to make English education accessible worldwide through the provision of free, interactive English lessons to all who desire it. Through interaction with a network of purely volunteer tutors who aim to create equitable, immersive, and approachable class environments, students can learn practical English not taught in traditional classrooms, and in doing so are empowered in more positively contributing to the wellbeing of their communities and the world as a whole.
Description
ConnectPlus is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Virginia in the United States, founded in March 2020 by a group of high school and college students. We seek to make high-quality English education easily accessible to all. Since 2020, ConnectPlus has recruited 500+ tutors worldwide and taught 600+ students across China, logging 10,000+ hours of English instruction.
HSE is ConnectPlus' English-tutoring branch. HSE is happy to provide verification of volunteer hours (for community service requirements), volunteer certificates, and recommendations. Volunteering experiences with HSE can also be submitted as part of resumes for college and job applications.
