Aqua Aerobics Instructor
Penn Asian Senior Services' Evergreen Center is a thriving community center designed to meet the needs of retired Asian American seniors. Although our target population is Asian American seniors we serve a diverse population of more than 200 elders from across the Greater Philadelphia Region.
We are currently seeking an experienced Aqua Aerobics instructor to lead weekly Aqua Aerobics classes for our members in our heated saltwater pool. The goal of the Aqua Aerobics classes is to help our seniors maintain an active lifestyle, and improve their health.
We are seeking patient, kind, and culturally sensitive instructors. Preference will be given to individuals who are lifeguard and CPR certified. Bilingual English and Korean strongly preferred.
If you currently have a client base we can discuss in-kind arrangements.
About Penn Asian Senior Services (PASSi)
6926 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA 19126, US
Our mission is to promote the well being of Asian American seniors and other adults who are disadvantaged by their language and cultural barriers.
PASSi currently provides community based culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate adult day care in our Penn Asian Jubilee Center as well as in-home health care services to low-income elderly and disabled adult Asian Americans who reside in the greater Philadelphia metro area. In each case, our clients are ailing, disabled and disadvantaged by cultural and language barriers. Through these services, vulnerable members of Asian American communities have the opportunity to maintain healthy, dignified, independent lives and prevent premature admissions to nursing home care. For their families, this service provides peace of mind and respite from the need to fulfill filial obligations to care for elderly parents and disabled adults at all costs.
