Event Coordinators
The duties and responsibilities of an Event Coordinator center on planning and managing the screening of finalists, as well as community building events. Coordinators have to understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly.

Vision:
Individually we have been on a journey to find ways to apply our skills and talents towards endeavors that contribute to a better world. With this event we reach out to short film makers creating work that turns attention and imaginations towards what the future looks like if we rise to the challenges we face today. Who are the filmmakers that will help us envision a better world that works for all? We want short films in any genre from dramedy to musicals and from live performance to experimental.

Last year we awarded 3 winners and 4 Honorable Mentions that were screened on the International Day of Peace September 21, 2020

Because We The World has 11 Campaign Themes of which Freedom is the 9th, that was our featured day during the 11 Days Of Global Unity. As part of that that we screened 6 artist collaboration submissions that ranged from songs and dances to abstract digital art animations.

Imagine 4 times a year, groups like MoveOn, Greenpeace and Amnesty International coordinating their action campaigns with hundreds of other global organizations, thousands of smaller groups and millions of people around the world, shifting societal consciousness and creating political will.
