The Phoenix Boise is looking for a Volunteer Certified Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft and willing to work with students of all fitness levels. Some experience training and teaching groups is a good thing but not required. We want you to create fun, engaging and effective classes, all while being responsive to the needs of our team members. Instructors should be organized, reliable, able to arrive at all your scheduled classes on time, and able to engage with members after class. The Phoenix is a free, sober, active community. Ideally volunteers will have a strong connection to the mission as well as lead a sober life as much as possible.

Description
Since 2006, our free sober active community has inspired more than 58,000 people across the country to believe they have the strength to rise from the ashes of substance use disorder (SUD) through the support of those who are walking the very same path of healthy living. The only membership fee is 48 hours of continuous sobriety.
The Phoenix members in Idaho come from diverse backgrounds. Women constitute almost half of The Phoenix Boise members. We currently have twice weekly programming for our local Veterans Administration. By providing free programming, we strive to remove as many barriers as possible to ensure that everyone has access to the support they need to sustain their recovery and develop the community connection necessary to maintain a meaningful and healthy life in sobriety.
Through various social and active pursuits like group fitness, climbing, hiking, cycling, yoga, skiing, art and more, we believe fostering human connections in mental, physical, and spiritual fitness is a powerful way to rebuild wounded bodies and spirits and restore hope and wellness.
