Teacher support volunteers assist with classroom monitoring and management, plus arts and crafts, while also ensuring the safety of children. Teacher support volunteers can also indicate interest in a lead volunteer teaching role.
The ideal volunteer has experience interacting with children, loves to smile, accepts the responsibility to protect children from harm, and is comfortable in a Christian environment.
An interview is required with the Director of Children and Youth before approval. Respondents will be contacted via email to schedule an initial Zoom conversation.
All Sunday volunteers working with the children and youth ministry must pass a local, regional, and federal background check before being approved for service. At this time, approved volunteers do NOT have to pay for their background check.
We look forward to hearing from you to begin the process!
