Held in the heart of the Bay Area on the island city of Alameda, Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews is truly one of the most exciting luxury events of the year. Featuring California's best winemakers, spirits and breweries, gourmet foods, restaurants and live music, Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews is set amidst Alameda's bustling Spirits Alley on the city's historic Naval Base.

Enthusiastic Volunteers needed at Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews in its event to raise funds for the Alameda Boys & Girls Club! Whether you're an army of one or many, we want you to be a part of the fun too! We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, fun-loving individuals who want to give back while having fun. Experience the event first-hand and make friends with other volunteers all while supporting a great cause! Volunteers must be 21+. *Saturday, October 2, 2021: Event Day duties include event set up, exhibitor, volunteer and entertainment relations, traffic control, VIP tent support, attendee registration and event load out.

**All volunteers who complete a full 4-hour shift will receive access to the event. If you are completing a shift during or after the event hours (12:00 - 5:00 pm), you will receive a Designated Driver wristband and be prohibited from drinking at the event before your shift. If you complete your shift before the event, you will receive a General Admission ticket

Covid Protocol
Alameda Boys & Girls Club’s first priority is the safety and health of our attendees, sponsors, entertainers, production crew, volunteers, and staff. We are working closely with our venue and the Health Department to ensure that Corks, Forks, Rhythm & Brews in October will be a fun and entertaining experience that is safe for everyone. As such, all attendees will be required to abide by our COVID-19 Protocol, which will evolve as we get closer to the event and may include any or all of the following measures: liability waivers, face coverings, social distancing, non-invasive temperature checks, testing, or proof of vaccination. Alameda Boys & Girls Club reserves the right to modify and add requirements at its sole discretion. We will update this page with those protocols as we get closer to the event. Cooperation with published health and safety protocols on-site will be required to enter and participate in the event.

About Alameda Boys & Girls Club

  • Serves all kids from all schools and all backgrounds every day and evening after school, on week-ends, and during vacations and is the only facility in Alameda that provides this service
  • Continues a 71 year-old tradition of providing a safe and positive place for all youth ages 6 through 18
  • Serves over 2,000 youth in a new, state-of-the-art Youth Development Center and provides a community resource facility for everyone in Alameda
  • Over 40% of members are from single parent households, and over 65% come from economically-disadvantaged families
  • Supervises and administers programs in certified areas of youth development:
    • Character, Leadership, Life Skills, and Career Education
    • Math, Science, Reading, and Technology
    • Arts and Crafts, and Performance and Digital Arts
    • Sports, Recreation, and Fitness
    • Gardening, Cooking, Health, and Nutrition
  • Provides after-school homework help and tutoring
  • Offers free dental, vision, and medical screenings from local medical professionals and assists with access to follow-up care
  • Partners with local schools, other community youth organizations, and non-profits to ensure that our members receive the services they need most
  • Enjoys a professional affiliation with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national organization
