Provide Back to School Necessities for Children Living in Poverty with Baby2Baby

Quick Overview: Make a direct impact on the lives of children living in poverty heading back to school by gifting them their most needed items for the upcoming school year through Baby2Baby's back to school program Student2Student.

Impact: For these families, providing the basic necessities every child deserves is nearly impossible, especially after over a year of being disproportionately devastated by the pandemic. Additionally, parents will pay more for school supplies this back to school season as prices are expected to rise, and families living in poverty who are already struggling to provide the basics will once again be most impacted. Baby2Baby will match participants with a child in need and will be provided with a bio of each child along with the child's gender, age, and a checklist of essential items to include.

Volunteer Roles/Responsibilities: After Baby2Baby matches participants with children living in poverty in Los Angeles, supporters will purchase, assemble and drop off items at Baby2Baby's Headquarters located at 5830 W. Jefferson Blvd, LA, CA 90016 by a designated date assigned by Baby2Baby. If you would like to participate in this program, please sign up by emailing student2student@baby2baby.org by August 6th.
