Job Title: Loader Assistant
Location: 1141 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85034

Purpose
As a loader, you are responsible for pre-loading and unloading food boxes for distributions, and moving boxes safely within the Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-loading and loading procedures as directed by distribution manager.

• Load and unload food box packages
• Lift and place food boxes in appropriate areas
• Assist manager with loading food boxes for distribution
• Ensure packages are effective for loading
• Pre-load food boxes in van
• Assist loader at St. Mary’s Food bank

Job Requirements

• Self-motivated and hardworking
• Able to use leadership skills for problem solving and increasing productivity
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Able to physically lift 100lbs or more
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Be able to stand for long hours
• Able to communicate effectively
• Commit to a schedule position

Volunteer Opportunity Hours -Vary

Days Needed - Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays

Time Commitment: 2-5 Hours

Qualifications: None

Dress Code: Casual clothes (regular T-shirt, jeans, pants, and closed toed shoes)
