ORGANIZATION: Transcend STEM Education

Transcend STEM Education will be hosting several community support events for low income families and individuals impacted by COVID 19 for our Workforce Development, Homeless Prevention, Rapid Rehousing, Mortgage Assistance and General Community Engagement events. We need volunteers over the next few weeks to help us sort donations and categorize them prior to distribution.

To close the gap in the school curricular and traditional workforce development for the underserved/underprivileged - with a special focus on At Risk populations - by actively preparing and engaging them through innovative, robust and futuristic Whole Family Integrated - STEM based Programs that go above and beyond traditional methods.

Description

Transcend provides STEM based Extra Curricular Activities , STEM Based Workforce Development, Skill Building Courses and Career Training Certifications. Through Corporate Partnerships, Transcend STEM also provides job referrals,/placements, apprenticeships and internships. Transcend STEM uses ux workshops to build capacity, teach soft skills and provide entrepreneural guidance.
