Healthy Living for ME, a statewide non-profit, is in need of local community members in Western Maine that want to teach others how to reduce their fear of falling and increase their activity levels.
A Matter of Balance facilitators help participants view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. Does this sound like something you would enjoy?! If so, reach out to us!
Classes will take place in/around Lewiston Maine. There may also be virtual opportunities.
No experience? No worries! We will provide you with a free leader training.
To learn more about upcoming leader training opportunities, please contact Katherine at 207-440-2390 or e-mail kmills@heathylivingforme.org We look forward to hearing from you!
