ORGANIZATION: MENTORING AMERICA CORP

College students will be matched with a high-schooler and will meet with them on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Volunteers will mentor the students in the hopes of helping them solidify a plan for what they will do after graduation. This could include helping with college applications, SAT/ACT prep, advice on the transition to college, and many other topics as well.

Mentoring America is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose goal is equality in post-secondary educational opportunities. We mentor students from socially excluded backgrounds and provide them with the resources to strive for higher education.
