We need a a small team of volunteers to help out at our concession stand at the Moda Center for the 2021 Portland Trail Blazers basketball season... This is a great opportunity to network with nonprofits, community leaders, Trail Blazers fans, and members of the NBA community! All of the donations received during these events will be used to empower women and families in historically marginalized communities!

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age and older
  • Attend a TEAM Certification class
  • Black Slacks (no jeans, leggings, sweatpants)
  • Black Tennis Shoes/Sneakers (non-slip resistant)
  • T-shirts and visors will be provided

Mission Statement

Colostrum Coalition has a strong mission to increase breastfeeding rates and eliminate racial/ social disparities in breastfeeding education and support. We focus on marginalized communities to improve exclusive breastfeeding or breast milk consumption rates among infants and working towards providing accessible breast milk banks in underserved communities.

Description

We serve families from a grass-roots level through equitable access to breast milk for infants. We serve neonatal infants, adoptive and foster families, marginalized families, and LGBTQ families to provide breastfeeding support and resources that are unbiased and represent diversity.
