Help us keep on top of our social media! Come be our superhero! You'll get all the perks of being an amazing volunteer! That is, you get to employ your talent and powers for good while you work from home and gain the satisfaction of making NYC better via laughter! We're currently seeking a someone who can create and maintain a strong online presence that's humorous and offers some degree of social impact. Your role is to ensure brand consistency, posting frequency and overall marketing management across social media channels to ultimately increase traffic and engagement through humor.

Requirements

• Expertise in multiple social media platforms
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
• Excellent communication skills
• Multitasking and analytical skills

NYLaughs, Inc. ( www.nylaughs.org) is a unique 501(c)3 not-for-profit that strives to strengthen the human connection via laughter by producing free shows in NYC public venues! Our signature event is a summer series of free comedy shows in NYC parks called Laughter in the Park.

We seek to inspire New Yorkers through humor. Our mission is to strengthen the human connection through laughter and to raise the profile of the comedic arts.

We bring an extremely diverse group of New Yorkers together with humor. When you come to our shows, you'll see every ethnicity, age, socio economic background, religion, etc. in our audience. We embrace our differences and seek to build community one laugh at a time.

We would like to find someone with a passion for this City and a love of comedy to help us maintain our digital presence on the web. We were featured in the NYTimes 23x and have at one time or another gotten press from other major print / television sources, as well. We've been honored to have won funding from the NYC City Council, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, NYSCA, LMCC, Washington Square Park Conservancy and more.
