Sertoma Centre's Employment Services Department is looking for volunteers to share their experiences in the workforce.
Our consumers are actively working to build on skills that will help them enter (or reenter) the workforce. With your knowledge and experience, we can add to our programs and give the consumers an even better chance and landing their dream job.
We are open to any topics related to work. For example, you could share how you: Advocated for yourself in the workplace. Highlighted strengths in an interview. Overcame obstacles or negative feedback. Identified ways to take on more responsibility. Asked for a raise. Built your skillset and changed career paths. The opportunities are endless.
We find videos to be the most engaging for our consumers, but we will also gladly accept text materials or audio files.
