Pathways of Hope

Would you like to help help hand out bags of food on a weekly basis to Fullerton College students in need?

We need volunteers who can take on a weekly shift on Thursday mornings from 8:30am-12pm.

Volunteers need to be an adult over 18 years of age, lift at least 15 lbs, sign a waiver, understand our COVID communication policy, and wear a face covering per school request.

Tasks include carrying bags and boxes from the food bank to the drive by pickup lines, set up and clean up, and other tasks related to the food bank.

COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For 46 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.

The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as a walk-up center for individuals and families seeking housing assistance.

Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County.   • Must be over 18 years old, wear a mask, fill out an online volunteer application, sign a volunteer waiver, initial a COVID checklist, and wear closed-toed shoes. No current Fullerton College students allowed for confidentiality reasons.
