ORGANIZATION: Collegiate Independent Study

Our non-profit organization is seeking a Linux engineer to work with our team in building and maintaining innovate and social-important high performance computing system.
The hired person will get an opportunity to build from a scratch unique project and increase tech and soft skills in team of enthusiasts.

Responsibilities are:
- Design and implement architecture of HPC system;
- Build and maintain high-availability systems;
- Monitoring infrastructure (collect, aggregate and analyze metrics, handling logs, proactive monitoring);
- Troubleshoot issues on OS level and network (strace, tcpdump, etc);
- Automate routing tasks.

Requirements are:
- Experience of administration Linux based systems;
- Theoretical knowledge of principal TCP/IP network;
- Experience (or theoretical knowledge) of systems of configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, etc);
- Experience (or theoretical knowledge) of Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift;
- Experience (or theoretical knowledge) of virtualization systems (OpenStack, VmWare, etc);
- Interesting in learning HPC frameworks;
- Knowledge of one of programming languages (Java, Python, Bash, etc) for automate routine tasks.
