ORGANIZATION: National MS Society - California

logo

The Dinner of Champions is the National MS Society's premier gala event and pays tribute to the vast network of generous corporations, organizations and volunteer leaders who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people living with MS.

This specific venue was chosen not only for its picturesque surroundings and view of the Bay, but more importantly, because it provides the opportunity to host this event either indoors or outside, based on COVID-19 restrictions that may be in place at the time of the gathering.

Volunteers will welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate areas at the event site, answer questions as needed, and ensure a positive event experience for all.

About National MS Society - California

Location:

1700 Owens St, Suite 190, San Francisco, CA 94158, US

Mission Statement

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of MS.

Description

Founded in 1946, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society supports more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs, and furthers more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world.

We do this through the extensive research we support to find the cause, cure and improved treatments of the disease; the comprehensive services we provide to people with MS and their families; the professional education programs we offer to assist health care providers better serve their MS patients; and through our advocacy efforts on state and federal levels to encourage public policies supportive of the needs of people with multiple sclerosis. This is why we at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are here.

Volunteers are vital to the work of the National MS Society. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: to want to do something about MS NOW. Your valuable skills and fresh perspectives will make the Society a stronger and better organization. There are so many ways to contribute, whether through advocacy, programs, fund-raising or special projects. We can always use your help.
