Are you smart with messaging via social media? Can you create fun eye-catching content for a good cause to bring in followers, donations, and inspire people to take action? Family Builders seeks to raise its profile with diverse folks who want to see change and make change for a more child-friendly world, especially for children in need.
Family Builders by Adoption, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, serves children in foster care who need a loving, supportive, permanent family, regardless of the child’s age, ability or disability, or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression (SOGIE). Family Builders builds families! and support both children and the parents who provide them with forever families.
Our one-person development/communications department needs a creative, tech-savvy volunteer to create content and assist and advise on social media marketing. Ability to coach/tech support on MailChimp, TikTok, Instagram and other platforms a big plus. 2-4 hrs a week, make your own schedule.
Family Builders is intentionally anti-racist and LGBTQ+, age and disability inclusive in in its board, staff and constituent communities.

Family Builders is here to help find permanent, loving families for children and youth in the foster care system - that's our only goal. We connect children with individuals and couples who can provide safe, stable, nurturing families. Our services are free and confidential, and include adoption, foster care, and other forms of permanency. We have experience working with all types of children, youth, and families.
