Welcome to Solutions Farms! We are a farming enterprise of the non profit organization called Solutions for Change. Our mission is to grow USDA certified organic produce, while solving family homelessness. What do these visions have in common? Our farm supports our program that provides homeless families with the education and life skills they need to live with self-sufficiency.
If you love to garden, interact with people, and want to help homeless families, volunteering as a docent is for YOU! Your roll is to give tours of our farm to the public. In these tours you will educate guests on how aquaponics work and the program itself. Although not required, experience with gardening and education is a plus! And, you are also welcome to help around the farm if you'd like ;)
