Mission Statement

Sunshine Gospel Ministries exists to seek the renewal of the city through ministries of discipleship, mercy, and justice. We do this through building relationships, teaching and mentoring, developing life skills, care and advocacy in our community.

SGM Vision:
We seek to engage and empower youth, families, and guests of our community to thrive and lead healthy lives through faith, connectedness, and opportunity.

Sunshine Gospel Ministries is currently involved in the following ministry activities:

Youth Outreach - After-school programs for elementary age and ministry programs for High School Age students.

Sunshine Enterprises - Entrepreneurial training classes and mentoring for new business startups.

Bridge Builders - An urban immersion short term mission experience where participants come to listen, learn and serve.

GreenLine Coffee - Our new coffee shop creating beauty in our neighborhood and the opportunity for jobs for some of our neighbors.

Housing development - Rehabbing of housing units to provide affordable housing for our neighbors.

Job creation - Partnering with the city of Chicago and other partners to find a way to create jobs for our urban youth.
