Minds Matter connects driven and determined high school students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world.
Minds Matter supports students in their sophomore, junior, and senior year. Our program offers a unique combination of mentoring support, group instruction, and social-emotional learning. We provide students with the resources and guidance needed to gain admission, enroll, and succeed at rigorous four-year colleges. Support continues during college with internships, professional skills-building, and access to our alumni platform.
We are currently seeking mentors for sophomores and juniors in high school! A differentiator of our program is the 2:1 mentor to student ratio. Two mentors guide, challenge, and champion their students. Mentors serve as critical resources to students throughout the program by offering advice and counsel through academic, social, and professional opportunities.
