Do you have professional skills and want to make a difference in the community? Do you have an interest in helping educate America's youth for STEM careers? Then please come and join the all-volunteer, non-profit organization, Friends of the Laguna Hills Tech Library, by becoming a Treasurer Volunteer.

As Treasurer you will manage the financial records of the Board. This is a great opportunity to gain accounting experience with a well-recognized and respected community organization.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate response required for proposal (RFPs) and letters of intent o grants and funding;
- Coordinate budgets, reports, and other ancillary materials for accounting purposes;
- Communicate financials at quarterly Board meetings

Qualifications:
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and complete multiple tasks;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a professional and resourceful demeanor;
- The ability to work both independently and as a team player;
- Prior Accounting experience a plus
