Become a Volunteer and receive your Certificate of Competency as a Community Health Worker specializing in Advance Care Planning.

Our Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Lead and Support Trainer - Support online & on-site training.
  • In-person Volunteer - Friendly visits, meaning & legacy projects, & advance care planning discussions.
  • Bi-lingual Volunteer - Assist with essential phone calls, videoconferences, translation, social media, & marketing.
  • Advocacy Volunteer - Lead and/or support community outreach & establish community partnerships.
  • No One Dies Alone Volunteer Program (NODA) - A national program dedicated to providing support and companionship for dying individuals and their caregivers. This program has onsite and virtual volunteering opportunities available.

Comfort Homesake was the first to present the No One Dies Alone program in Alameda County, California. We are looking to train volunteers from across the United States to participate in No One Dies Alone (NODA), a national program dedicated to providing online COVID-19 volunteer support and companionship for terminal and dying individuals.
