Are you a people-person? Do you like talking on the phone and solving problems? Do you have excellent office skills? Our Meals on Wheels locations are looking for volunteers to help with answering phones, taking Cafe reservations, filing, entering data and more.
Volunteers need to be available 1-3 days a week, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am and 2pm (but we can be flexible on time). Dress is casual and you'll get the satisfaction of knowing that your work will be helping seniors throughout your community.

Our vision is to live in an environment where seniors and persons with disabilities are valued and are an active part of our community. We currently serve nearly 600,000 meals a year to over 7,500 seniors and persons with disabilities in Suburban Cook, Kendall & Grundy Counties.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
