Mission Statement
South County Museum is a 501c3 non-profit local history museum located in Narragansett, RI. Our mission is to inspire curious learners of all ages to explore, engage, and experience the history of Rhode Island's village communities that formed around unique agriculture, maritime, and mill work.
Description
South County Museum is a campus-style venue, set on 7 acres. The museum encompasses a variety of sites to visit, such as an exhibit hall, blacksmith forge, carpentry barn, and print shop. We offer summer camps, girl scout programs, field trip opportunities, as well as community events, such as concerts and family days. Our property is also available to rent for parties and weddings.
