Are you passionate about finding a cure for Alzheimer's and all other dementia? Do you cycle? Are you not a cyclist, but looking for a way to support the Alzheimer's Association and a growing event? Please keep reading! If you live in Maryland, DC or Virginia, enjoy cycling, and are passionate about raising funds and awareness to support the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association, please join the Ride to End ALZ National Capital Area Planning Committee. Our inaugural Ride was May 15, 2022 and we are planning to host our 2nd annual Ride to End Alz on May 7, 2023.
The Ride to End ALZ is a fully supported, one-day fundraising event for all levels of cyclists with multiple route options from 12-100 miles that will challenge you to go the distance to fight Alzheimer’s and all other dementias. The funds raised by the event go 100% to research.
We are looking for volunteers interested in helping us plan, promote and grow the ride. There are volunteer opportunities in marketing, recruitment, fundraising and logistics, working with a great group of passionate volunteers and expert staffers.
We are hosting an upcoming Committee Kickoff event on September 22nd in McLean, VA, if you would like to learn more. Please join us today! Questions? Email/call volunteer Carol Stone at cts116b@gmail.com or 703.919.3361.
