Visitor Center Information Specialists serve an important role in the Visitor Center. They are often the first person to welcome a visitor to the destination and are here to provide information about the location, offer suggestions of places to visit, help visitors plan an itinerary during their stay and so much more.

Our mission is to drive visitation to Cabarrus County to generate the maximum impact through hotel stays and visitor spending. Our vision is to continually grow and sustain a dynamic travel industry to become the number one economic force of Cabarrus County.
Description
Our volunteers contribute their time and skills to greet and assist guests at the Visitor Center or onsite at registration/information tables during local events such as races, festivals, group meetings, and more. While assignments vary, the majority of our volunteer opportunities involve welcoming visitors and showcasing our area. Volunteers may also provide support for other projects as needed including mailing projects or assembly of convention packets.
