If you are interested in giving back, this will be a great opportunity for you! Traditions Health is in need of friendly and compassionate hospice volunteers for both patient-oriented opportunities & administrative support!
Patient-oriented opportunities would include things such as: routine patient companionship & support, sitting with the patient while the family is away running errands, light housekeeping/meal prepping, watching TV with the patient, reading/singing to the patient, and many more similar opportunities.
Administrative tasks would include things such as: helping office staff with tasks & projects, making copies, helping create & mail out bereavement letters, answering office phones, helping make admission folders, etc.
Our volunteers choose the days and times that work best with their schedule! Without volunteers, the Traditions Health hospice program could not provide the kinds of services which are needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families.
Our office is located in Waxahachie, TX but our service area is quite large, so there are multiple areas in which we need volunteers.
