Helen Hall Library is seeking a volunteer to assist in the English Conversation Practice class that takes place twice a week. This is a fun class that focuses on helping international students work on their English conversation skills. It takes place on Monday nights 6:30-7:30 and Wednesday mornings at 10:30-11:30 at Helen Hall Library. The volunteer would provide support to the class instructor, as well as occasionally serve as main instructor for a breakaway beginner session with individuals or as a substitute instructor. The volunteer would attend the class to get to know the international students and build rapport and a comfortable relationship with them.
No experience necessary, although an interest in helping people learn new skills is required. Training will be provided.
