The Role:

Are you tech-savvy in showcasing the best content online? We are a Not-For-Profit seeking a Volunteer Social Media Director that is versed in intent and social networking sites which would help increase the exposure of our organization. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day campaigns and ensuring there is brand consistency. You will be creating the monthly editorial calendars and using the marketing strategies in delivering our organization’s message.

This is a volunteer role that could become a full-time job, and an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of building something that will make our world a better place. We need you to:

  • Develop and execute the social media strategy.
  • Create a brand look through the online social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn)
  • Respond to potential volunteer and individuals queries through social networks
  • Manage and direct a team of 3-5 individuals
  • Work with the Marketing Department and Graphic designers to create compelling content for the different platforms

You Have:

  • 3-5 years of Social Media Management Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing, or any related field
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Strong computer skills in using Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Adobe Suites
  • Ability to manage and supervise the group of volunteers and working towards the mutual goals
