Virtually support a group of high school students through the process of applying and preparing for college!
Volunteers will help students prepare for college through a series of weekly mentoring sessions covering topics including:
- Resume writing and interview coaching
- Money management and financial literacy
- Decisions and consequences
- Setting goals and college decisions
- Mental/ e motional Health
- Self-advocacy / civic action.

The Fresh Air Fund, an independent, not-for-profit youth development organization, has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.8 million New York City children from low-income communities since 1877. Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, The Fund continues to provide safe, fun, engaging and enriching experiences for New York City youth to keep the magic of summer alive through virtual and outdoor programs. Fresh Air children also participate in year-round leadership and educational programs.

The Fresh Air Fund (The Fund), is a nonprofit youth development organization that has provided free, life-changing outdoor summer experiences to more than 1.8 million children from New York City’s underserved communities.
Description
The Fresh Air Fund has provided high-quality outdoor programming to more than 1.8 million New York City youth. Each year, thousands of children (between ages 8-18 years old)experience outdoor summer adventures through visits with volunteer host families along the East Coast and at The Fund's five overnight summer camps in Fishkill, NY, with an additional camp in The Bronx, NY. Fresh Air children also have the opportunity to participate in year-round leadership and educational programs held at our NYC Office.
