Out of the Darkness: Oakland is a community event that brings together survivors of suicide loss, people who have struggled with thoughts of suicide, and bringing together our community to stop suicide forever.

Join us as we put together a memorable walk along with the sunrise at Oakland's Lake Merritt.

Description

To fully achieve its mission, AFSP engages in the following Five Core Strategies:

  • Promotes policies and legislation that impact suicide and prevention
