About Unconfined the Project
Location:
5373 Foxhound Way, San Diego, CA 92130, US
Mission Statement
Unconfined strives to connect society and art by creating meaningful and compelling art and contributing to the community along the way.
Description
This non-profit is organized for the purpose of donating proceeds collected from selling original art products to various charities, holding online workshops to educate and inspire younger art students, as well as making visuals (infographics) to raise awareness of art and current events on social media.
It is uncommon to unite art and fashion with community activism. Unconfined the Project is a student-led organization based in San Diego, California. Since summer 2020, our designers take inspiration from our community, and we print their original designs on products such as apparel and stickers, benefiting the artists and highlighting the importance of art education. We have also been creating original art projects, infographics, and collaborations with other organizations to further our reach as we educate our community.
Our plan is to donate our profits to organizations such as San Diego Foundation that focuses on benefitting our community or those focused on providing art education. With our recent free art workshops and monthly art project publications, we aim to not only benefitting the community through volunteerism but also helping young adults find their voices and stances through written or artistic expressions.
