Teach stretching to Oakland Chinatown seniors

Like working with seniors? Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? Are you interested in leading stretching classes? We are looking to support some of our Chinese seniors during the pandemic to lead Zoom, remote stretching classes provided in Chinese.

Volunteers will be tasked with leading seniors (via Zoom) through a basic stretching class. Ideally, volunteers will be able to provide instructions and clarifications in Chinese and have experience in leading safe, fun, and effective physical education classes for seniors.

We address the specific needs of individual neighborhoods by connecting the essential elements of health and wellbeing through our Healthy Neighborhoods Approach.

EBALDC is known for developing and managing diverse, mixed-income complexes and communities, while providing vital social and financial services, to help give long-time, low-income residents the ability to stay in their neighborhoods. We know Oakland well and invest deeply in our neighborhoods.
