ORGANIZATION: DREAM CATCHERS INC

DreamCatchers is seeking volunteers who are inspired by the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students. We are looking for volunteers who are organized, hard-working and dedicated to inspiring and developing young people. The primary role for this position will be to implement and advance our after-school academic support program, working directly with students, tutors, parents, teachers, PAUSD district personnel, and DreamCatchers’ close-knit and collaborative team.

DreamCatchers’ mission is to help close the achievement and opportunity gap facing students from low-income, historically underrepresented ("HUR") households residing in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park/Belle Haven and Palo Alto who attend a high-performing middle school by engaging the next generation of young leaders as one-on-one tutors and mentors.
