Kindred Hospice is looking for volunteers who live in the south and west suburbs. We need people who live in Orland Park, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Tinley Park, Forest Park , and the surrounding areas. We are looking for people who are willing to see patients either in their homes, or in nursing homes/skilled nursing facilities, or both! We follow COVID-19 precautions and will give you any PPE you need. You will NOT SEE Covid-19 positive patients.
As a volunteer you can sit with patients and talk with them about their lives, read to them, play music for them, watch TV together, look at photos, pray together, or just be with the patient so that the caregiver can leave to buy groceries or just take a break. There are many ways to volunteer.
We work with all kinds of people and all kinds of schedules.
