Starry Night for Wishes Sake is an event full of watching local artists bring masterpieces to life right before your eyes and dive into hands-on art experiences! Description
There are several volunteer opportunities available within our chapter. To learn more about the volunteer opportunities listed below, please visit our website: Volunteer - Make-A-Wish(r) Missouri & Kansas
Wish Granting - wish granters meet with the wish family, help the wish child determine his/her one, true wish and act as a liaison between Make-A-Wish staff and the wish family during the wish process.
Translator/Interpreter - Help facilitate wish experiences for non-English-speaking families.
Special Events - Plan, organize, and implement successful fundraising events by working on event committees, helping out on the event day, and/or participating in the event.
Skill-Based Volunteers - Use your professional skills and knowledge in your own community to help with wish events and/or the wish planning process on an as-needed basis.
Young Professionals (St. Louis, Kansas City, and Wichita) - The mission of the Make-A-Wish Young Professionals is to provide a forum for young community leaders to enhance their professional growth, gain leadership skills, and practice civic responsibility while increasing awareness, encouraging volunteerism and raising funds for Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas.

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 18
- Volunteers will arrive to the Mark Arts theater at 10AM and help set up for our Starry Night event until 3PM
- Dress code: comfy/ casual appropriate clothing for set up- jeans, leggings, tennis shoes, t-shirts
