Committee Member for the Gainesville Walk to Defeat ALS

ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association Florida Chapter

The Committee Member works closely with the Regional Development Manager to:
-ensure event goals are met
-assist with marketing the event
-corporate team recruitment
-sponsorship identification
-work at your own pace, starting immediately until shortly after event (a few hours/week)
-attend/call in to a monthly meeting (1 hour/month)
-attend event to assist with day-of duties (5-7 hours)

The 2021 Gainesville Walk to Defeat ALS will be held in November 2021 exact date TBD.

The 2021 Gainesville Walk to Defeat ALS has a direct impact on people living with ALS by raising awareness and funds to realize the mission of The ALS Association Florida Chapter: creating a world without ALS. The Chapter is fighting this disease by participating in advocacy, providing patient services, helping fund research, and providing financial support to statewide multidisciplinary ALS clinics and research facilities, enabling them to increase quality patient care.
