Tempe Community Action Agency's Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program, provides support to our seniors who want to remain independent and in their home. This could be someone right down the street from you!
Choose from an array of volunteer roles including: Grocery Shopping, Friendly Visits, Transportation to the Doctor or Physical Therapy, Minor Home Repair, Per Care, or Technology Support.
All positions fall within the City of Tempe.

TCAA provides education, stability, and advocacy to working poor families, children, seniors, and the homeless.
Description
TCAA is Tempe's primary "safety net", providing basic needs and emergency assistance for low income and elderly community members, while encouraging self-reliance. The Community Action Program provides rent / utility assistance, food boxes, career services, cooking on a budget, community garden, homeless prevention, and pre-natal services. The Senior Action Program provides social activities, congregate meals, and home delivered meals.
