The Gift Corner at MidMichigan Medical Center - Alpena serves the community and medical center staff alike. The volunteer operated gift shop includes a wide array of inventory from gifts and clothing toys and sweet treats. Clerks are responsible for customer assistance, cash register operation, cash handling, and general tidying of the gift shop. The Gift Corner volunteers proudly donate all proceeds from the shop to fund improvements to the infrastructure of the hospital and advances in technology and equipment.

MidMichigan Medical Center - Alpena has had an active volunteer program since 1975. The valued volunteers of our organization serve in various roles throughout the medical center. Volunteers offer a helping hand to patients and visitors providing information, wayfinding, and wheelchair assistance. Volunteer operate the medical center gift shop, The Gift Corner, and conduct numerous on site fundraisers throughout the year. In addition, our volunteers serve in numerous roles supporting staff and operations of the medical center.
