Help deliver food to seniors in Seattle from the Filipino Community Center every Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at 11AM. The Filipino Community of Seattle (FCS) was founded in 1935 as a social organization and has evolved into a not-for-profit social service charitable organization serving the Filipino and other communities in Greater Seattle and beyond. The Filipino Community Center is partnering with Volunteer Services through Catholic Community Services to provide volunteers to help deliver food boxes.


Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income older adults and adults living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.

Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a Washington State Patrol check and attend an orientation.
