ORGANIZATION: Leelanau County

The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners is seeking a resident to serve a three-year term on the Workforce Development Board.

This body is a group of individuals who are or represent employers and acts as the governing body on programs related to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Board members are individuals employed as chief operating officers of businesses or business owners in a ten-county area of Northwest Lower Michigan. Two members represent Leelanau County; appointees must apply directly to and are chosen by this Board.
