About 8by8
In the past year, anti-Asian and anti-AAPI hate crimes have risen by over 150%, along with high profile hate incidents that have captured the national attention. We believe that the path to stopping hatred and discrimination in its tracks starts at the ballot box, so we're challenging everyone to share our message of voter registration with 8 people in 8 days.

To make this happen, we're recruiting dedicated volunteers from across the nation to promote our message and grow our organization, both online and in-person. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate, hard-working, and excited about 8by8 and the #StopAsianHate movement. Regardless of role, all volunteers will receive:

  • Signed community service hours
  • A reference for future work or volunteer opportunities
  • Hands-on experience and the opportunity for advancement in an area of their choosing

Grant-Writing Team

To lead the grant-writing campaign for our organization, we are looking for volunteers with previous grant-writing experience to help us identify and apply for grants. Volunteers will be responsible for researching, applying for, and maintaining grants, and will have the opportunity to work with elected and business leader spokespeople.

Prior grant-writing experience is required for this role, although said experience does not need to be extensive. Above all, we are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic and willing to take initiative in seeking out new sources of funding.

Candidates currently enrolled in high school or above are welcome to apply. If you have one, attaching a resume or cover letter would also be great. We hope to see you on the team!
