We need volunteers to help facilitate book club discussions for our residents living at our housing sites. A lead volunteer will be at every book club meeting, but the facilitator can change every month (i.e. for every new book, there can be a new volunteer leading the discussions)
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 required.
This is a 12 month commitment.

About Union Station Homeless Services

825 E. Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91104, US

Mission Statement

Helping individuals and families rebuild their lives and end homelessness.

Union Station Homeless Services is part of a premier group of human services agencies in Los Angeles County that are leading the way to end homelessness in our community. We are the San Gabriel Valley’s largest social service agency assisting homeless and very low-income adults and families. Since 1973, Union Station has helped rebuild the lives of thousands of people who were once homeless and without hope.

Anyone interested in volunteering with us should email to be placed on the next available orientation list.

Age minimum is 13 years old. Group maximum size is 4.

The vision expressed four decades ago by the community volunteers who founded this agency still rings true today - every person deserves a life of dignity and a safe place to call home.
