Basic Needs will be hosting a free event open to all 55+ community members every Tuesday from 8am to 10am. Covid-19 hit this age group very hard and as an organization we are trying to help get them back in social settings enjoying life! There will be coffee and pastry available as well as board games and cards. You will be responsible for picking up bakery items from Starbucks. Setting up games and food items. Interacting with the 55+. Bring the excess baked goods to Thrift Shop when it's over. Time Commitment 2.5 hours.

Description
Basic Needs is a Thrift Store that accepts donated goods (toys, clothing, furniture, household goods, etc...) to be purchased by customers or donated to individuals with vouchers from local area agencies. It is run with only a few paid employees and the rest volunteer.
