Our in-person Enrichment Gatherings (currently offered once per month) allow an opportunity for the participating Mommies to come together to break bread together, enjoy fellowship, and share faith. Our single moms don’t have the support of family members to offer childcare, and certainly don't have the financial resources to obtain childcare during these meetings. We offer childcare for their children during Enrichment Gatherings, allowing the Mommies to fully participate and practice self-care. Enrichment Childcare providers may assist as frequently as they’re able. Fourth Tuesday evenings, monthly. It is required that volunteers for childcare support have a background check on file with Mommies Matter.

Description

Mommies Matter provides an extension of pregnancy care services by journeying with single mothers through their pregnancies, the birth of their child, and beyond. In 2018, Mommies Matter began offering extensive support services alongside local pregnancy centers, agencies, and hospitals in Columbus, Ohio. Practical supports offered to pregnant, single mothers include group and one-on-one mentoring, family advocacy services, financial assistance, financial advocacy services, life coaching, mental health counseling, material aid support, and beyond. Mommies Matter is more than "services offered" - we are a supportive, long-lasting community, wrapping around single mothers with the support and resources they need and deserve. Won't you join us?
