ORGANIZATION: San Mateo County Library - East Palo Alto Branch

Support San Mateo County Libraries (www.smcl.org) by joining the Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries (investinsmcl.org). The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the county library system. Whether you want to join the board or support the work day to day, becoming a Foundation volunteer helps you give back to San Mateo County Libraries in a truly unique way.

Board:
Board members raise both awareness and funds for the goals and initiatives of the libraries. Board members make a three year commitment to supporting the Foundation and its initiatives. Board meetings are 9 times a year--currently on zoom. Once in person again, meetings will be in San Mateo or at various library locations.

Committees:
Committee Members make a one year commitment. Working with the board, committee members help move the work of the board forward. Committees include: Communications, Finance, and fundraising. Meetings are as needed and vary by committee.

Volunteer:
Do you love creating social media posts? Are you a bookkeeper with a few hours a month? Do you love mailings? Reach out a get involved on-going or project based.


San Mateo County Libraries serves the diverse communities of Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Millbrae, North Fair Oaks, Pacifica, Portola Valley, San Carlos, Woodside, and the unincorporated areas of San Mateo County.
