Evergreen Center is seeking an experienced and certified fitness instructor passionate about helping older adults meet their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience teaching across different platforms (Zumba, Aerobics, etc.) to culturally diverse populations. Patience, compassion and a positive attitude are prerequisites for the position. All volunteers must pass a criminal background check and abuse clearances.

Our mission is to promote the well being of Asian American seniors and other adults who are disadvantaged by their language and cultural barriers.
Description
PASSi currently provides community based culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate adult day care in our Penn Asian Jubilee Center as well as in-home health care services to low-income elderly and disabled adult Asian Americans who reside in the greater Philadelphia metro area. In each case, our clients are ailing, disabled and disadvantaged by cultural and language barriers. Through these services, vulnerable members of Asian American communities have the opportunity to maintain healthy, dignified, independent lives and prevent premature admissions to nursing home care. For their families, this service provides peace of mind and respite from the need to fulfill filial obligations to care for elderly parents and disabled adults at all costs.
